Town @ the Chambers Hotel: Located in the Chambers Hotel, TOWN. likes to punctuate. The small, dark bar was once featured in “Sex and the City,” but since the series retired to DVD, it might as well be a ghost town. Your wallet isn’t going to like the price of the drinks or the small bites. What was once a popular hotel bar is now a quiet haven for out-of-towners wanting a pre-show drink or a nightcap. The bartenders are friendly, but they could just be starving for conversation so the lack of it has rendered them near mute. It’s a great looking place, but there’s not a lot going on here. Perhaps it’s just played-out. Period. |
