Mad46: Although they serve Da Bronx Martini, don’t expect a mad-cool crowd at Mad46. The latest rooftop bar opening up just in time for the sweltering summer heat, this Midtown perch on the 19th floor of the Roosevelt Hotel shuts down at midnight and mostly caters to the after-work crowd. While the space isn’t much wider than a catwalk, views stretching to the West Side of Manhattan are excellent. Mad 46 serves a full assortment of specialty drinks like a Bombay Sapphire Tom Collins and the Berritini, along with small plates (crudité, a cheese and fruit plate, and shrimp cocktail). If you’re looking for a more complete meal, just head down a few flights to the Roosevelt Grill. |
