Dune: Though the décor is all booze-cruise nautical, the well-heeled models and bottles crowd at Dune is anything but. Only a Southampton nightclub could get away with serving a $15 cocktail in a plastic cup in a space comprised of three adjoining rooms that have little more than a disco ball, a mirrored wall, and anchors and sailor hats painted on the ceiling. In fact, besides the prices there isn’t anything striking about this Hamptons hotspot from Noah Tepperberg and the Strategic Group. That said, the rooms are filled with tables upon tables of scantily-clad women hoping for a glimpse of Leonardo DiCaprio and older men in suits sipping on one of Dune’s $595 Magnum bottles of Moet. If you’re not lucky enough to nab a $2,000 table, the main room is set up with an oversized wooden box that you can climb on to get down—if you’re a girl that is. |
